there are 2-room inn rooms in QH (little more expensive than average), the Lion's Mane Inn (northern part of SQ, next to mailbox), and Irontoe Inn in NQ (right next to the SQ gates). there you have the choice to get a room that you pay for entirely in coin, or if you are in a high enough guild (10, I think, maybe 15) you can buy it using status points and pay part of the upkeep with status (unless you have enough status reduction items in your house to negate that cost).

You get a free room to start. Nothing special.
Its fun though.
