I'm currently a level 66 swashbuckler with the agility and intelligence AA rogue lines. I don’t know that I would actually switch since the skills in these two lines are astounding imo, but I am curious about the wisdom (fencer) line.
Is the wisdom line really worth using only one weapon, leaving your offhand empty? Is it worth giving up feign death and the aggro reduction of the INT line? It also seems that you are wasting points on wisdom, which, as far as I can tell, is next to useless to a swashbuckler. But on the other hand, the wisdom line can be used in conjunction with any other line since it is not weapon dependant. Also, all the extra attacks that fencers get should put them on par with dual wield (in theory), but have the extra dps of a 1h weapon.
Are there any fencers around that would like to voice their opinion on the wisdom line or anyone who has tried it but found it to be not worth while?

On the contrary, WIS is not useless to swashy... it increases resists... as for the one handed empty deal... i havn't done that on my swashy, but it seems like taking away a 2nd weapon then doubling attacks with the single weapon is sorta waste.... if u had a 2nd weapon, it would double your one weapons attacks all the time.... but i dont know.
I like teh STR and AGI lines of the Swashy. The STR line seems to be the "warden killer" line to me.. SLow recover, recast, and casting times of opponents is huge when your solo'n a mage or druid.... if they cant get as many heals or attacks off cuz they are slowed way down, u become much more effective
As for AGI, u get avoidance, force direction, an extra attack and at the end, a nice 25 percent increase in casting.... great for the burst DPS at the start of a fight... get your DPS off faster...
So with that combo, u can hit them first off wih a knockback, then with your slow down u get with STR line... then go to town on your 25 percent faster attacks.... so can do the kills faster... get the fight over with....
There are more than one way to skin a cat i suppose.... all ways are fun though.
Swashy is the most fun class i think.
