Whether or not you feel that Karana should be a neutral deity, he will in fact most likely end up being a deity of good alignment. They are adding three deities and I find it very hard to believe that The Tribunal will be good aligned as they are the deities of law and judgement (something typically associated with neutrality). It would make more sense to add one good deity, one neutral, and one evil. We all know Bert is going to be evil so I'm doubting the other two are going to both be neutral.

They need to add Bristlebane as a neutral god for scouts. The rest are poor choices at best.

According to the wiki [link=httphttp://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Karana]site[/link] karana is allied with tunare and Mithaniel Marr which are both good an enemy of Bertoxxulous which as a necro is obviously evil. This should obviosly make karana good. The tribunal will be the nuetral deity as they have no enemys or allies.

Defiantly good. Karranas powers were used to bring a storm down on the ogre army in the game lore.

That and rains is usually noted for cleansing the lands.

As a Coercer, I think I am going to go with Sol Ro. Just like the fire god!

i voted for karana being a neutral diety, but that was my understanding of him as much more of a nature god, and would be neutral.

It is interesting that he is coming back, im looking forward to seeing this deity on one of my travels.

Sorry Karana always was a Neutral diety. I am still very new to EQ2 but i played EQ1 until blood oozed from my eyes lol. He was and will always be a wimpy fence riding Neutral to me. :)

In classic Norrathian lore, Karana is neutrally aligned. There is no reason or need for this to change.
