Compare to EQ1 how is the...Follow

In EQ1 whenever a couple of expansions came out a casual player could always go back and solo the big raid encounters from a couple years ago for fun and the experience of the fight

I was a player in EQ that loved to do this and am about to go back to EQ unless it can be done in EQ2 as well

I have played EQ2 besides play in the trial but I know that its either EQ1 or EQ2 and just wanted to know that little piece of information before I choose

If you would like to convice me EQ2 is the game over EQ1 by all means tell me your arguement on the issue =D

Hrm. It applies to some extent, but to no tangible benefit. See, eventually you will outpower lower level raid content to the point that you can solo stuff that 30 levels agho took you a couple groups to accomplish. Hoever, due to EQ2's trivial loot code (ie: you dont get loot or exp for anything significantly lower level than you) you don't get the rewards. I guess the short answer is, "Yes, you can do it", but...yeah.

'Mentor'

(ya, it's not solo'ing; but damn, this is a "social game"!)
