Hello, old player returning!Follow

No, this isn't a "Should I return" post. Rather, a "I'm already here and need a guild!". I played EQ2 when it was released, due to time constraints and other reasons (getting married) I kinda drifted away. I've returned one other time only to have my house get flooded out and all sorts of problems arose preventing me from actually playing.

I'm here and the game looks superb! I have to be honest now. I've played FFXI for around 2 years, and have lead some teams in a FPS known as TFC (half-life mod). Also, I've played a few other games for a bit of time.

Now, for the juicy part! I have started over. I am looking for a guild who doesn't mind sharing there adventures with a new player so to speak. Also a guild who doesn't mind the new-veteran player. Sure, there is lots to learn and relearn. But I'm very excited to enter the world of Norrath once again! I can bring to you dedication, and fun! I am very open, being that shy isn't a strong trait I possess. I carry common sense in my back pocket so that when a nut ball tries to challenge me, I will simply reach into my back pocket and walk away. I'm not here to prove points, I'm also not here to be the best. I'm simply here to enjoy this game with other people!

Now, some preferences. I've seen and heard that the pvp in this game isn't to cool, so I really don't want to be on a pvp server. RP servers... Never tried them but I don't see what could be so bad!

Anything else you want to know? Just ask! I'm very friendly and will answer just about anything within reason!

Thanks for hearing me out!

Welcome back to the game, Pir!

You have options across the board on great guilds. We have representatives here from just about every server. Nektulos and Najena are very popular. Unrest has good folk. Antonia Bayle smells kind of like old cheese, but the people are friendly enough. Check out the Portent Alliance on AB. They sound right up your alley. For suggestions on good guilds on other servers, I'm sure other folk can chime in.

RP servers are no different than normal non-RP servers other than RP is more accepted. It isn't a requirement, it is just "preferred". While it is nice to immerse yourself every now and again, don't let the RP tag scare you off. Not everyone participates. It's usually controlled events and environments/guilds.

Cheers.
