ok, I'm posting here because I'm getting NOWHERE with SOE... don't get me wrong, I love EQ2, but dealing with Customer Service/Tech Support @ SOE ... I'd rather get dragged across a bed of nails and thrown naked and bleeding into a pool of rubbing alcohol...

last week, I decided to be a good samaritan and offered to help a guildie and pay for his EQ2 for a month. He gives me his Account Name / Password. I sign in, hit manage subscriptions, then go to Edit his Station Access so I can put it on my CC... a message pops up, telling me that May 26th the servers are coming down so 3 games I've never heard of can be merged into Station Access... lovely for the players of those games, but a bit inconvenient for me...

the message has been up for the whole week, and I'm not sure, but I think the servers are supposed to be back up for registrations today... or are they saying they'll be down until June 26th ?? I can't imagine they'd be THAT insane...

tried chatting with someone, but although the website says 7am to 7pm PST, the pop up that chimes in AFTER you enter all your info says 10am to 7pm...

does anyone know exactly what all this is about? I'm a little curious because my EQ2 account is set for renewal today, and I'm wondering if my weekend plans of raiding and tradeskilling need to be changed... LOL

Have you actually tried to enter the info? I haven't seen or read anything about people having subscription issues.

For chat? Yeah, I fill it all out, hit submit, the a pop-up announces the extra 3 hour wait...
As for the subscription message, here's what it says...

That's the message I get whenever I click on 'Edit' in my subscriptions

Thanks! The wording is what has me confuzzled... are they saying it'll be up AFTER June 1st or not until June 26th? I can't imagine SOE would let people's accounts go into limbo for a whole month... then again, I've dealt with the corporate mentality before... it's pretty scary. :P

Yeah, I agree, the way it's worded makes it sound like it'll be down for a whole month, and I just can't see SOE doing that.

Ok... good news bad news...
good news... the StationAccess servers are back online
bad news... they're kinda awkward to get to... I had to contact SOE Support and complain. They then basically cancelled my StationAccess so I could re-subscribe. But it worked.

I guess if you are one of those affected, your best bet if you can't reactivate via web is to contact SOE Support and let them work it through for you...

good luck!
