I am trying to figure out how to use the broker system to sell in the game. Do I need Salesman Containers to do so, if so where do I get one?

Could anyone link me a guide to the system, I tried to google it but just found goldsellers.

We haven't a guide (yet), and you're right, it's sorely needed.

You can place any kind of container in your broker slots. The Sales Containers hold the most, and except for the Salesman's Crate all are for specific types of items. But you can throw any old backpack in there if you want. The advantage of the Sales Containers is they may also be placed as furniture, which people may by directly from (if your rent is paid up) and bypass broker fees. To place a specialty container as furniture, put it in your broker slot and from in hour house bullieten board, right-click. These containers are player-made: use the Advanced Search on the broker and under item type select Sales Display.

To access your broker slots, engage any Broker or doubleclick the bulliten board in your room (you should have gotten one when you bought your first room). You'll have a number of slots that relate to how large your room is. Put your containers in and fill them.

Clicking on the container will display the contents, and you can then price items. Be aware the displayed vaue of unpriced items includes the proker markup fee. Price your stuff and it's instantly ont he market all over Norrath.

You must log in your selling toon every 24 hours to stay listed on the broker, and may have only one toon per server per acount selling at a time.

I know I forgot something in there...

Just thought I'd add one thing. You can't buy from your broker board in your inn/house. You can sell from there, but if you want to buy something you need to go to a broker in a tradeskill instance or one of the city zones.
