See the entire GU 35 update here

I read the whole thing and I must say, I am pretty impressed at first glance. The housing change is much needed and they implemented it perfectly. The only thing I see that is going to change things considerably (good or bad, not sure which yet) is something that was sort of snuck in there.

Since the world has seen the addition of multiple cities, chat channels will now use a good and evil naming convention.

The way I am reading it is that each alignment will no longer be able to converse with the opposite alignment in the level chat channels anymore. I like the idea from an RP standpoint, but it definitely cuts the tradeskill market and grouping market in half. However, at least the grouping problem will somewhat be offset by this other fix:

The LFG window has received new functionality to help adventurers pool their resources and face the challenges of Norrath. Click the LFG button on your group window or use the /lfg command to open the LFG window.

Can anyone who played on test confirm or deny my assumptions regarding the world level channels?

I think you are misinterpreting that line. They don't mention the "Level_" channels specifically. Those will be left alone. What they are talking about are the channels that are /already/ city restricted (Freeport_Crafting, Qeynos_Paladins, etc.). Those will now be designated by alignment as opposed to city (Evil_Crafting, Good_InsertClassHere, etc.) instead of being redundant by adding "Neriak_" and "Kelethin_" channels.
