Need assistance with EQII patches.Follow

I have just loaded EQII onto a new computer with Windows Vista as the operating system. The computer is stocked with: AMD Athlon 64 Bit X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+, 2 Gigs of Ram, and an ATI Radeon X1650 512MB video card. So I am pretty sure it should not be a problem running this program, but of course I am having troubles. I cant seem to download the patches to play. It will start to download and within a second it cancels the download. I have gone through troubleshooting for about 4 hours now and cant figure it out. Any Ideas???

looks like you need to run it as an Administrator.

if you are having problems, right click on the program and select "Run as Administrator" (or something along those lines). just be warned, Vista has some serious memory leakage problems, so don't be shocked if you get some out of memory messages every now and then.
