Hiya there. New to EQ2 as well as the warden class. Have just a few questions.
1- Are wardens a letdown? I seem to be able to solo 8-9 mobs at a time at level 15. Im pretty sure I won't be able to do this later in the game. So do i become more healer oriented? I didn't want to be a fury due to the cool heals wardens get.
2- Gear... I have to say now, I'm an old WoW player, (switch was due to the maturity) and gear is a little more complex. Not a bad thing really, gives more of a class distinction. What should Wardens look for in gear?
3- Final Question! Why are people in EQ2 so much cooler? =P

I don't think wardens are a let down, my main character is a warden and I love it, lvl 37 atm. I like how wardens can seem to survive a mass onslaught, like I notice my warden can survive a big group fairly well compared to my brigand which dies if swamped by 3 or so.
They do say fury's are better at soloing.
I just buy gear which has highest mitigation I can get and with strg and int when I solo and with wis and added power when I group, mit doesn't matter so much in groups as your role is to heal.
I like to use a mace when solo as wolf form is increased magic crit and when run out of power switch to sword as sword is for increased melee crit and use a staff when group for crit heals.
3. I've noticed seems like ppl are older and maturer, average age of guild members seem to be 30 and Iam 29 nearly 30 :P

1. I don't think that wardens are a letdown, neccicarily. My main is a 56 warden, and I've only run into a few problems myself, but that's because I did a horrible job buying gear and upgrading spells!
2. Heehee. As far as gear, I always try to pick items that have high wisdom, intelligence, and agility. Since I'm a wood elf, I always wear leather and cloth armors; but I think that by far those are the best ones for wardens.
3. I don't know if we're cooler, because I haven't played WoW all that much... but I've heard that alot of characters are immature there. Not like I can say very much, because I'm only 19!
