Broker Board Takeover?Follow

I have noticed on Lucan De'lere Server that several players have banded together to try to take control of certain resources. "Alkali" Loam (Tier 6 rare loam) is one of them. The characters will be sweeping the forage areas for this resource almost 24/7 making it extremely difficult for anyone else to forage there. A view of the broker board showed these characters had over 75 alkali loams between them and all for sale at an "astronomical" price! Anyone trying to sell for lower appears to have thier loam scarfed up by these guys and a monopoly on the price seems to be in effect now. The only ones able to buy at these greatly inflated prices are people who most likely have "bought" plat from a salesperson. I have talked with a few people who belive that these guys are employed to do this and the plat they make from monopolizing the resources is being pumped back to a "real Life" Plat for cash buisness. Is anyone else aware of anything like this going on? It is very unfair to the simple player who doesnt have unlimited plat to spend, and only limited time to forage in the hope of getting a rare.

Yes, but for a week they are inconvenienced. You also point another way in which these bums are attempting to take advantage of the system, which then allows SOE to possibly take action to prevent this in the future. It only takes a moment to report their activities.
