teleport between zones and landsFollow

Hi

I understand that as a wizard I will be able to teleport to any location. I am a level 42 wizard. Although I can teleport to my 'home' town and I have a depart spell I have heard I can teleport to different areas to save me having to go through various locations on foot. Does anyone know when this is possible? Is it a higher level ability? I am not referring to the teleportation spires.
Thanks

I hope to be able to clear this up to you. As a level 70 wizard these are the only teleport spells available to you in EQ2. You of course get you call home spell and once you complete a quest you can set your home point whereever you want. Then you get a evac and a group evac port that takes you to a safe place in zone. In the EoF expansion, wizards of any level I believe can get port coins and activate the wizard spires in anatonica, commonlands and greater faydark. That is all that I am aware of. Hope this helps.

yeah, you can't teleport to ANY location... your evac takes you to a designated 'safe spot' in the zone (your group evac has the same destination, just takes the whole group instead of you) ... but, combined with the Spire teleports (Antonica Portal etc) and the Fay portals, you can journey around pretty decent... example: my CoQ is down, and I'm in the Bonemire. I cast Antonican Portal which takes me to the Antonica Spire. I then cast my 'evac' and voila, I'm standing at the gates to North Qeynos. Granted, it's not as fast as CoQ but it beats doing it by foot...
