I have a slight problem. I tried to update to EliteUI and I lost my appearance for my toon. It reverted to my old toon. Is there anyway to get my appearnace back to the new toon? Since you are allowed one change of character appearance I already used that.

There is a "stylist" in Freeport and Qeynos that allow you to purchase appearance changes for something like 2G and change. The one in Freeport is in West Freeport between the bank and the stables. I'm not sure where the Qeynos one it.

Though I'm not sure your UI can cause a change in your actual appearance. Are you sure you didn't just change from SOGA models back to original models or the other way around? If this is the case, you can just open your options (ALT+O) and dig around in the display settings. There will be an alternate/SOGA models option. Toggle it for the races you want. I bet your toggle choices got reverted with the new UI.

Yeah, I'm with Stu - your UI doesn't affect your appearance unless it changed the default model type.

On a side note, you can get the makeover as often as you want.

I've changed my style and reverted back 2 days later.

ok, I GOTTA ask... I know you can't change your race or class... does it allow you to change gender? Just for the sheer laugh effect... I might just have to go hunt down the stylist in Qeynos... :)

No, no gender changes. There were some player casted illusion spells (coercer and illusionist) that would change the player's appearance to that of the race of the illusion being cast, but the gender of the person casting it (so say if a female coercer cast Illusion: Ratonga on you, you would appear as a female ratonga). I do believe this has been fixed to maintain the original gender of the player, at least in most cases (It still works this way on NPCs).
