After reading some hype about EQ 2 and possible Rise of Kunark my attention much like Kunark is rising. Know this I am a Kunark EQ 1 baby. First real MMO so to me Kunark is part of the original EQ.
Now I left EQ 2 a bit back. I had a 36 conj fae on Venekor. It was fun but empty and soloing was a pain and finding quest starters is even worse. So what is one to do? Well first let me express what should happen if SOE does make the RoK expansion. Key word is IF. Realize this that like someone said in their blog Kunark is a big gun. It was what some may think made EQ great. If SOE pulls out this trump card I honestly believe WoW will fear in it's boots. Rather the whole MMO gaming community will fear the rise of Kunark. Simply because original EQ today can be compared with the best of them. In order to make this work SOE has to add massive fire power to it. First don't make this expansion a 60-70 expansion. No. Wrong. Not! Kunark is a expansion for all to enjoy. Or rather should. Remember SOE why EQ 1 died when you starting making expansions 55+. Some said make it zoneless. Ehh Okay I can dig that. Just have awesome zone transition landscaping then. For example if DL (Dreadlands is a must zone to make btw) is leading into BW well then don't just do a drastic trees on fire show som ash then slight burns then the 3rd degree burns. Some say a playable evil race. Well Saranaks and Iksars hate each other so get that out right now. Out of all the Kunark races I'd say either Goblins or Drolvarg are more likely choice. I can see Cabalis being like Felwithe and new tunarians. But this be cool, make something with VS and Lucan make an unholy alliance and make OT outpost now like some vast fortress. You really don't need to focus on good side too much considering an evil race came from Kunark. Other than those ideas do what ya want. Just don't make Kunark reserved for high end. Ehh and that's my 2 cents.
Quick question, I played on Venekor if I came back can I get a transfer to Naggy? For cash of course.

I agree that kunark should not be geared for just the high end. Personally i'd like to see it for all levels or 40+. And if the cap is going to be raised lvl 75 is much better than 80. If you raise the cap to 80 you then make alot of KoS and EoF useless to the high levels and they wouldnt be used alot less like how DoF is.
And I dont think you can transfer over to a pvp server from a regular server.

Wow. If you had a fae you couldn't have quit /that/ long ago. And you were having problems solo'ing a conjuror? They're up there with the most efficient solo'ing classes in the game. o_0
Kunark will most likely be similar to Faydwer in that it will have zones for all levels 1 through 70.
As for character transfers, yes, there is a chracter transfer service with which you can move your toons to new servers for a hefty fee. The exception is the Exchange servers (you cannot transfer from them). Contact SOE customer service.

Not really problems with soloing. It was I got bored cause I soloed through most of teens and all of 20's. Also On venkor there's really no people to grp with.
Well if you like PVP and just are having a tough time finding group members, you may want to stick it out a little longer. Word is that SOE will be merging some of the PVP servers in the near future to boost the populations on those servers. Venekor may or may not be included, but it can't hurt to wait and see.
