Good Morning, AllaK's - 4/20/07Follow

Good morning, happy campers.

Logged in my main and decided to finally finish the Poet's Palace access quests. I always had a pal who had done them so I never /needed/ to do it. In any case, after much running around the desert I polished them off and headed into Poet's to tool around for a little bit. Killed a bunch of stuff. Die a whole lot. Lesson learned: Answer questions in IRC after you are done fighting the mobs that are hitting you. It's much easier on your armor repair tab.

Scored any AA while randomly smashing things. Got stuck on the floor with the randomly opening walls/doors. I spent about an hour and a half there and never figured out how to get to the mirror on that floor. Eventually decided that sleep was a greater reward than any loot that may have dropped upstairs. Camped out and called it a night.

How was your evening?

happy 4/20

Was a good raid last night, just about cleared FTHO but people had to start going while we were working on Malkonis D'Morte. So guess that means 3 1/2 days later that vampire is toast. ~_~ Perhaps getting into some EH for the weekend.

I finally got off my butt and went through DFC. We had a pretty, how should I say this nicely, shoddy group. The tank, a lvl 55 SK mentored to 50, was having all sorts of problems getting, holding and keeping aggro. He wasn't turning the mobs, so our swashie kept getting aggro from unwanted mobs as he ran around to the backside of the mob we were fighting. One of the wizards didn't understand that his AoE's were going through the walls and pulling more trash. He also didn't have a very good grasp on threat reducing techniques. I tried to do my best in pulling off add aggro. If it wasn't for our healer (a warden by the way), we all would have been toast. Somehow, we managed to make it very deep until our healer had to leave. We invited another healer into the group and had to hike back to the entrance to retrieve them. To make matters worse, my GF started yelling at me to come to dinner.

At this point in the story, I would love to say that I put my foot down and told my GF that I was in an instanced zone and could not leave the zone because I would be locked out for 18 hours, plus I didn't want my group to have to wait for another person to arrive and told her to eat by herself. I would love to say that.

I'll probably be doing DFC again this weekend after my lockout timer expires...

I took a break from my pali last night and logged my baby fae Conjuror. I ran around trying to get a level in anticipation of our group fae session this evening. I didn't manage to finish anything for leveling...but I did spend a bit of time sorting and arranging backpacks and such. At least now I won't run out of room when we run this evening.

Ran labs with the guild with 3 groups. Was going to do something better but no one loged on. Got a pair of blackcoat leggings to put me at 7.8k unbuffed HP and ranked 6th on the server. Not too bad. One more peice of fabeled armor and ill need to start working on earring and such.
