Good Morning, AllaK's - 4/19/07Follow

Good morning, happy campers.

Logged in my main, grabbed a L40'ish side-kick for me to mentor and went on an information gathering trip to The D`Vinnian Throne. Good times. Only missed a couple screenshots, most notably Oracle N`Mare who apparently only spawns if someone who is on the appropriate part of the War and Wardrobe HQ is there in the zone with you.

Got a neat little ring that would be an upgrade for my defiler. Unfortunately it's Lore so I couldn't mail it to him or use the bank to transfer it. I can understand the difficulty in mailing it, but why can't you use the shared bank? Just, don't let a toon that already has the item on them or in their own bank with draw it. Ah well. I'll find someone to transfer it for me later.

How was your evening?

logged my SK and tooled around in SS, doing misc. quests while trying to get a group for CQ2. Couple guildies needed help with BSV, but decided to help one of them level to 24 first (make it a little easier to get a single group instead of a raid). Well, what was supposed to be a quick simple leveling job in Fallen Gate, turned into a full blown run, killing all the way down to Vault of the Fallen, and doing that instance. After that, the guildie we were leveling had to log, so only able to help one of them, but will help the other one today or friday.

Freaky thing is, despite mentoring inside FG, I was still able to gain around 40% (maybe more, maybe less, not too sure, but around 40%) and ding 50, and already about 12% towards 51. Really didn't think that was gonna happen at all until I started seeing my XP creap into the 90s.

So a fun night, that's for sure.

Last night was harvest, harvest, harvest! I went into CoD to harvest some materials for my up and coming provie. Picked up 5 ductile loams and threw those up on the broker for 20g a pop. 15 minutes later, I had made a plat. Finished the night by taking my tinkering up to 130. Good times.

On a side note, I love harvesting instances. I wish there were more. Oh well.

Interesting. I spent most of the evening harvesting in Eternal Gorge. Playing on a pvp server it helps to have harvesting "instances". I'm ready to start T4, so on to CoD i guess. I've never harvested there, so it should be fun...

Other than that I'm trying to crank out some AA while having my Warden locked at 28. SH and FG are fun at this level. Duoing with a Swashy we can usually get some good drops.

Ha. I never really considered that. I suppose that a focused effort on harvesting would be a big pain in the rear on PVP servers. Hmm. What will you do for T5? Just watch your back a lot, I suppose?

A quick note on CoD: if you don't gray out the zone, you probably won't stand a chance.

I was wondering about that for CoD. In Eternal Gorge if you dont click on anything, nothing ever spawns, so it's empty. For T5, I'll just have be more careful I guess.

Hey all,

I've been reading these posts for awhile now and thought I'd join in.

I ran in Everfrost with a few guildies last night. We started "An Eye For Power" and found all of the shards and then proceeded with the named for the next step. We got lucky and managed to knock out all 3 bosses in less than an hour. The Minataur popped on the second cycle.

We also managed to find 2 epics that we could take out, and a third Epic popped when we were looking for the white shard. I forget the name, but I think it was a lvl50 ^^^ epic x4. We looked at it, and backed away).

You lucky ****** It took me 3 nights of several hours of camping per night to get stupid Webclaw to spawn for me. That stands as my longest static camp for an EQ2 mob to date.

Ya, we couldn't believe our luck. One of the group members had the same experience that you did. We were about to log after finally getting the last of the shards, and decided to check for the bosses since we had seen one earlier. "WooHoo, Webclaw is up...now lets see if we can get that darn minataur to spawn!"

We all got a couple of AP's last night...with the bosses, the epics, and finishing a few side q's.

I got on for a little bit, got frustrated because I just really wasn't paying much attention and kept dying. They whole family has been sick this week (I just had to pick Kiddo up early from school) and I'm darn well tired of it, and just plain wore out, and I apparently just wasn't into playing.

So I wrote some Secondary Tradeskill Guides that I've been farting around with since, oh, December or so, lol.

I decided to read a book I bought last month, after a while I went to make a drink and realised over three and a half hours had gone by....

Logged in to do some work and hung out in the Allakhazam EQ2 IRC channel for a while. Logged in my provisioner and managed to level before I ran out of roots again.
By this point it was getting late so I went to bed and read a bit more of my book rather than face the harvesting.
