Ive spent too much time in Fallen Gate to want to go back. I hope they dont bring it back. And if for what ever reason they do, I hope the entransce to it is in Nek forest, and not Fallen Gate.

I do not feel that Neriak will be the new city. Here are the reasons.
1. Kunark has the possibility of Cabalis still being intact. This was the iksar city in Everquest and is quite evil enough to house us ruffians from Freeport.
2. Neriak albeit interesting is located in the old world.
3. Neriak is would be located ONE zone from Freeport giving you absolutely no location difference or advantage.
4. If there is to be a new race as well with Kunark any race that exists in Kunark would not have access to Neriak or we would have already encountered them.
5. The sheer lore of rebuilding Neriak would make no sense. A small faction from Norrath decides to clear the old tunnels of an abandoned underground city which is, as stated before, right next door to another evil citadel city. To what end?

Any intelligent responses and conjecture directed toward this reply would be much appreciated.

P.S. If evil fae are the new race, I quit. Sarnaks and drolvargs would be much better choices.

I agree that Neriak is very close to Freeport, but if they are going to add Neriak as part of the "free content" I highly doubt they'll add a whole nother overland zone. As for Neriak being rebuilt, since the devs redid the Fallen Gate, there have been Thexians digging all over the Fallen Gate and the Commonlands. No one says they can't be digging up their home town... Besides, the Dark Elves in Longshadow Alley seem pretty upset over losing Neriak and I don't see why they couldn't rebuild it themselves. And they have had plenty of time to do it.

It's already been announced on eq2players.com. Neriak will be here by the end of the month. I myself being a Dark elf shadowknight am very excited.
