The RangerFollow

i am new to this game and also interested in rolling a Ranger.

i also made a gnome ranger and played her for awhile to get a feel for the game. shortly after, i rerolled a halfling ranger after looking at the primary attributes for the races.

if anyone does not mind answering my questions:

what stats/attributes should i look for in equips, as a ranger?
edit: i answered my own question with just a little bit of searching around.

STR will increase your damage in both melee and ranged combat.
AGI will increase your power pool and avoidance
INT will increase your poison procs


what is a good way to execute your abilities during combat to achieve an efficient rate of damage? i have not played alot but ATM i use my ranged shots until the enemy reaches me, then i begin my string of melee abilities until dead.

depends on what you are talking about here - are you soloing? grouping? what level range are you talking about? The ranger group changes a lot over the levels you get.
