Will the ATI Radeon 9550 work for EQ2?

Yes, it is in the range of models listed on the EQ2 video card compatibility list.

I just tried to install it, but it won't fit.. I looked on the box and it said somehting about 'bus lines', and to check it. I'm guessing those are the gold-painted little things on top of the motherboard. Do all of the ATI Radions have the same bus line?

theres 3, PCI, AGP4x/8x and PCI-E.

PCI is crap for games involving FPS, etc.

AGP was the best option untill PCI-E came out.

But if you have a PCI bus then i suggest getting an ATI Radeon 9250, i had a PCI bus before and this did the job till i got a new PC with an AGP slot.

9550 should work fine. I had a 9250 running in my desktop and it worked just fine. VANGUARD had issues with it so I had to upgrade though...
