The easiest way I usually get money is selling Adept books and gear that I can't use. Try to get some Runnyeye and Cazic Thule groups, there is good money there + if you win some adepts and gear that nobody can use you can sell it and make decent money. I wouldn't worry about a horse though because you can do the carpet quest at lvl 47. I'm cheap so imo Free Carpet > Horse.

beg, borrow and steal.. If that does not work try the zones the above poster stated. With my Necro I will run RunnyEye to pick up Adepts and the occasiona master 1 if I am lucky. Other than that start crafting but it is a money eater at first but most of them can make you some change.

I only started playing 4 weeks ago and I've already made 12p from selling items that I either make or find. My big money comes from Master 1 spells that get dropped (like stated above) and from steel or other rares that I harvest and don't need. My main is a wizard/jeweler and my other two toons are a Conjurer/tailor and Fury/carpenter. I haven't made any money off the carpenter yet, but the jeweler and tailor items sell rather well. I guess by harvesting and tradeskilling it takes time away from killing and questing, but I think it's an integral part of the game and should be played.

Yes, I did forget about harvesting rares. The raw materials do not sell for much but the rares for each tier, besides the flowers and stones, sell very well. Just sold some T6 rares for 80g each.

AS for the poster above. My Carpenter does not make much either, may at higher levels but for the most part unless you are making rare furniture it does not do well, even then sometimes less than the rare cost.

If you're going to solo farm for adept 1 or trash armor drops, my favorite place is the upper tunnels of Splitpaw. A solo run through the upper tunnels takes me about an hour or so and usually nets me around a dozen chest drops.

The zone scales to your level (from 20 to 50) so the XP is always good with almost everything in there being white or blue. Leave the heroics alone (none of them will path anywhere near you) and when you're done with the run, you'll have the option to zone back to the opening and start all over again!

You will need to own the Splitpaw adventure pack (downloadable for 7 or 8 bucks) but since you can move all your characters through there for 30 levels, it's a bargain.
