Hello all, started the play the fae trial today...I'm hooked. Time to say good bye to WoW =)
On to my real issue. Once upon a time I played SWG until Sony screwed that up. Before I left SWG I was having a blast playing a pikeman/teras kasi/swordsman hybrid that was awesome. Is there a class in EQII that's like that? Anyone who knows SWG will know what I'm talking about. From reading the forums I'm thinking a monk? Any help would be appreciated!!
P.S. For those of you that don't know, I was a pikeman for the AOE and ability to use a pike, teras kasi for damage mitigation, and swordsman for damage.

well, sounds like either a (from my experience) either a monk or bruiser (for sheer damage and a high avoidance from damage) or an SK (several AoEs, high mitigation from plate armor, and a good bit of damage). I'm not sure about the paladin and been a while since I played a berserker, so I can't speak for those.

What kind of weapons can a monk use? Do any of the classes use pikes or staves for melee damage?
Monks use staffs and fist weapons. Monks and Bruisers are the only classes that can use fist weapons.
