I'm new to EQ2 but was a big WoW player. I loaded up EQ2 and the game is jmupy as hell. If I hit F10 twice (turn off the interface) it works grreat. Is this a problem with my RAM or is it a problem with the game?

Probably your setup. What video card are you running, how much RAM do you have, and what quality settings are you running in game?

Make sure you have the most current video drivers for your video card; try running the game at "Ballanced" quality.

While the minimum RAM requirement for the game is 512k, people swear up and down that 1MB is really the least you can get away with and have a decent framerate.

EQ2 is one of the most demanding games available. to play, you'll need a fast CPU plenty of ram and a good video card. if your rig is lacking, try lowering your video settings all the way down to extreme performance and see if that helps.

(Then go out and get a better computer if you plan to stay)
