Heavy RP serversFollow

#1 Mar 14 2007 at 12:18 AM Rating: Decent
I just recently re-activated my EQ2 account. I really liked the game before i quit, but my friends convinced me to start playing WoW. The only type of servers I played on were RP, I beleive it makes the game experience alot more fun. Can anyone tell me a good list of active/heavy roleplaying servers? F.Y.I. I will probbably roll Freeport :]

Thank you

Well, the two RP-preferred servers are Antonia Bayle and Lucan DLere.

I know LDL has hardcore RPers but the majority seem to be casual if that. You could try AB. I believe it has more since most of the RP guilds moved there at the beginning of the game.

I just started to get in to the RP part of the game and I am on AB, there are several RP guilds in both towns. There seems to be more "day to day" RP in Fport though. But there are several nice guilds in both cities, you just have to seek them out. SOEs own homepage has a lot of guild info.

If you're looking for a hardcore RP server, you won't find it here or on any other game sadly. A lot of non-roleplayers flood the roleplaying servers for whatever reason. You'll never escape the leet speak and all that so just try finding a really good guild on Antonia Bayle or Lucan DLere (which there are several of) and make it your home. Good luck with your roleplaying endeavors! Roleplaying really does add so much more to the game and has the potential to make your experience so much more enjoyable.

Belle is definetly right, but my main is 57 now on AB and I have only encountered leet speek in one or two pickup groups under all that time. Of course it helps if you do not invite people called "Bikerdude", "Arragorn" or similar names into your group. There is certainly people on AB that is just there for the population but most are nice. And i guess if you comes into the RP circles it will be a bit easier, there is a lot of events happening, go to them. Go to the RP pubs and so on and you will be on your way.

Then its of course another debate if you have to/must roleplay in a regular pick up group.
