So I decided to switch over from Wow. And I gotta say, in many ways I have very impressed. I just only started, and have reached the city after the noob zone. level 6. =)
Anyway, only thing bothering me is I have barely seen any people. I was walking around in the northern district of the city, and was alone. I'm Nerafen (Think that's name) PvP sever. Has medium population most of the time (never seen a full one) - and it's a little bothering me. I feel like i'm alone in the world. Where are all the people?? =(

Out adventuring :) Once you're past the newb quests you'll be out in the big wide world and you'll see more people. Most folks just come to town to do business.
Don't forget to join your world channels, lots of people hang out in there. Right click your chat window for a menu.

Out adventuring when u get little more lvl.
Heh yep the town are not used much (and qeynos and freeport have many small cities so newbies are spread out in towns too lol) they are only used for houses,broker,and vendors and repairing. Most of the people are out adventuring unless they are doing RP events (with friends,guild,or random people heh) so when you get higher you should see more people spread out...remember that this games population is lower then WoW's so it will seem empty if you have played WoW for a long time.

One command that you might find useful when using the chat channels is /channellist.
Then you can type chat into the conversations with /1 <enter message here> or /2 <enter message....
