I am a level 45 now and all I can think about is to keep levelling to a level 50 so I can get Ice Comet. I have heard that it is the most powerful spell and I am saving up my gold to have it mastered too. Can anybody here tell me their experiences with this spell?

Next to Fusion (lvl 65), its our highest hitting nuke. Though this one has less than 1/3 the recast of Fusion. Ice comet tides you over till level 70 when you get Ice Nova...probably the best spell ever :p
What more to say, it hits hard =) Give a mob any debuffs you can and hit it hard. Just have to watch out for aggro sometimes with that spell. if im grouped I usually try to slide in a de-aggro spell before using it. I don't know what AA lines you are working on, but with Wis+Str, you can really potentiate the dmg of ice comet/ice nova.

This spell is the most fun ever I finally made it to level 50 and OMG it is glorious. The first thing I did was nearly a full upgrade of my suit which gave me 316 Intelligence and I bought an Adept 3 of Ice Comet and I can say that the Ice Comet is very effective

I am completely loving it! I need to work on the recast timings a bit and I know where all the rest of my Achievement Points are going. My Wisdom is finally getting better too. Thank you so much for answering my questions and I am sure I am going to have more.

If you go down the Str AA line (which i recommend) the last skill guarentees the next spell you cast will crit. If you have a brig debuffing and you use the crit spell before Ice Nova... can you say 18k+ damage?
proc gear + frigid gift + catalyst + freehand soercery + ice nova. If you hit catalyst and ice nova...all the procs that go off at the same time will be crit. also. So on top of that you may have 2/3 procs critting for 800 - 1,500 damage.

the most dmg i have ever done with Ice Comet was 5,987, i had an adept 3 and 329 int.
great fun to pop it in when the mob is down to 3% health or something equally as low, just to get a great feeling of overkill
as we all know, overkill = power. Does for me anyway :p
