Problems with getting the updates on vistaFollow

Hey, i was playing everquest II until osme months ago when i quited due to a not functional computer. Now i have bought a better one (with windows vista) and installed my old cd:s on it (first everquest II,desert of flames and kingdom of sky), logged in to my old acount and resumed my subscription. Then i sat back and waited for the game to update itselves...wich it wouldent do properly, it uasally stops direct after the scaning and says "update" complete" but i cant play and character select is "unavailable" bur sometimes it starts to donwload nad estimate the time till like 100hours and if i leave it on it just "cancels" itselve after some hour and claim that the update is completed. My best guess is that is something (probebly very easy when you know how) i need to change in my firewall and i have found some treads about that in the knowledge base but i understand nothing of that computer languages and would be foreever grateful if anyone who knows could post how to configurate my firewall (in plain english!) btw i use a wireless network, if that changes anything
