Few questions about EoF.Follow

#1 Feb 24 2007 at 10:00 AM Rating: Decent
Hi all,
I've been playing EQ2 off and on since launch. I just bough the EoF expansion. I haven't had alot of time so far to experiment with it but i have a few questions.

1. How do i get from Qeynos/Antonica to Gfay? Maj Dul(sp)?
2. Other than the achievement points what else came out with the KoS expansion? Are there zones like the plane of sky?
3. My main is a 40 pally. What content or zone out of EoF, KoS, or DoF should i be most interested in or make sure not to miss?

Thanks ahead. I realize that most of this info I would find on my own after a bit of exploration but I thought maybe a few of you more experienced players could help out.

1. You can take a boat from Thundering Steppes or Nektulos Forest to Butcherblock Mountains, then you run to GFay. For Maj'Dul, look in your local Harbor for a flying carpet. This will take you to Sinking Sands, where there's a carpet to Maj'Dul.

2. EoF also gave us a new playable race and two new secondary tradeskills, Tinkering and Transmuting. There aren't planar zones, but there are zones for all levels, from newb to level 70 raid zones.

3. Here's our EoF zone level list: http://eq2.allakhazam.com/db/3/zonelist.html#Echoes%20of%20Faydwer

KoS zones are floating islands presumably far above Norrath. You get there via the spires (three prong pointy things) you may have seen in Antonica and other places. Talk to the person standing there to get a no-rent stone and the spires go off every 10 minutes to transport you. There are 3 main "overland" zones (Tenebrous Tangle, Bonemire and ???) and numerous instances. KoS is level 55+.

Kingdom of Sky has nothing to do with the Plane of Sky. There are no EQ1-like Planes in EQ2 so far.
