New to EQ2. Cannot connect through my Linksys WRT54GL router using a PC with
Windows XP SP2 and the windows firewall enabled on my network adaptor. I have
been playing WoW for 2-years with my current network settings without any
connection problems. I have DSL with PPPoE enabled to authenticate to my ISP
DNS server. Any advice on how to configure for connection to SOE EQ2?
I did read the EQ2 recommendations for routers and firewalls and it did not help.

I had similar issues. Go into your network settings and turn off Proxy Server.

Thanks for the reply Sockeye. I checked the proxy server setting and it was already disabled.
Then I'm not sure where to go from there. Did you call your ISP? They should be able to get it sorted out.
I say ISP and not SOE cause it sounds like a configuration issue on your end, but I could be wrong. And it was my ISP who helped me when I had connection problems.
