Between a Warden and a Fury if any?

Think of a warden as a defensive druid and a fury as an offensive druid.

This is not to say that a fury can't heal or that a warden can't nuke... only that each class leans a little more in one direction or the other...

I play both and can honestly say that while both solo well and that although either one does just fine in group or raid situations, I prefer my warden.

Wardens get fewer nukes and dots but a wider selection of heals. They also get evac. Furys get a better selection of nukes and dots and fewer heals but do have a nice selection of buffs and a group invis. Reuse timers are a little different with wardens getting to use their nukes more often. (good thing since we only get a couple!)

Both get roots, rezzes and the ability to port their group to any of the 5 druid rings. In addition, they each get a host of other in interesting unique spells.

For example, furys get a spell that heals the whole group when the mob dies and an interesting AoE Dot. Wardens get a dumbfire pet that is a pack of attack dogs and a healing tree.

Both wear leather armor and can use 1 or 2 handed blunt weapons (hammers, flails, wands & staffs), and also some one handed bladed weapons.

IMHO, you can't make a wrong choice if you pick a druid! I think that between the two, they are the best healers in the game! (but maybe I'm biased!)

Wardens get a better selection of heals, and short recast nukes.
Furys get Damage over time spells along with higher damage but sorta long recast nukes. Other then that with the exception of buffs they are just about the same.

I only had my warden up to level 20 before I deleted in favor of my fury but I think fury was much better at soloing in most situations. I haven't realy had any problem with the weaker heals of the fury but wardens get spells that heal instantly and over time while furys get instant only heals, both classes get a additional health over time spell(regrowth line) anyways.

Fury's have the fastest heals in the game, Our heals may not reach the amount of all other healers but we get out more then they can. Druids in general are very functional soloers where both can farm things most other classes cant like poets palace and nest. End game they vary on there abilities.

Group- both very functional main and only healers.
Raid- Warden is better in the MT group then a fury but they can function there where a fury is better off with casters due to there fast heals.

I have to say that I prefer my fury over my warden. I realize the benefits that both offer but I think that since my main is a level 70 wizzy, the fury is more up my alley. I did notice that areas where my fury had no problems taking on higher level mobs, my warden had a hard time with.

Old Blue is right, between the two, IMHO they are the best in the healer class =).

Wardens hug Trees a little harder than Furies, but they both love their woodland friends. I guess the only wear the skins of roadkill, because surely they don't kill them themselves...

Their vegan diet leaves them weak and lethargic, so they cower in fear and attack from a distance. If you or your group need to walk right up and tangle with opponents that hit back with heavy pointy things then you want a Templar.
