Server transferFollow

Through the SOE website. There is a system in place which will allow you to move one or more of your characters from one server to another.

Cost is around $75 per character (although there might be a "package" deal!)

Be aware that you can NEVER move a character from an exchange enabled server to any other server. This is to protect those of us who don't believe in buying virtual goods with real world money from being "infected" by those who do.

Did you notice the Quotation marks? I'm pretty sure OBD was being sarcastic. Oh and the idea of you telling someone else to pull their head out of their *** is pretty funny.

I looked into transfering one of my toons from one account to a new account because my wife wanted to play at the same time I was playing .SOE wants 50 bucks to transfer a naked toon (no money, no armor, no bags, no nothing)and if u wanted to switch servers also another 50 bucks which IMO is total scam

Think about it from their side of the issue for a moment... if they didn't charge a hefty price to jump servers, every ditsy 15 year old in the game would be jumping from one place to another at the drop of a hat...

"But I just HAVE to move (again)... my best friend in the whole world (this week, anyway) is on server XYZ and I want to play with him."

my best friend is on that server
my best friend left the server
the guild I want to join is on that server

The list of reasons is endless and SOE would need an army of techs just to keep up with all the petulant children who needed to move for one reason or another. And aside from that, wouldn't it also put a giant snarl in server operation to be moving characters all the time? As it stands, you REALLY have to want to move in order to do so.

Does it affect those who have a legitimate reason to make a change, yes but thats life!

Could just put high time restraints on the transfers... every character that transfers has to remain on it's new server for at least 1+years before being able to do another transfer.

Also doing a no transfer from Station to normal servers, and no transfer from PvE to PvP servers would also put a decent limitation on things since you wouldn't have players getting high end equipment with very little challenge then hoping over to a PvP server to wreck havoc.
