One more question about patchesFollow

#1 Feb 08 2007 at 8:29 AM Rating: Decent
Should be the last question. How do I know where the newest patches are being installed within my EQ folder? It will save alot of time getting the newest patches at work then transferring them to my home CPU (since I have dial up), but I don't want to have to save the entire EQ folder after each patch. If I know what files are being changed/added I could just use a CD-RW with each patch. Hope this question makes sense and any help would be...well helpful. Thanks guys/gals.

I didn't even think about this till I waited 11 hours for downloads, got to work today, found out all patches were complete, hit update and found out I have to wait another 2 hours for todays patches, lol, I'll never get to play EQ because I'll always be patching it.

for major patches there is a list of affected files posted with the rest of the update notes (found on the SOE site).

For minor patches, you could sort the folder by date and just scrape off the newest stuff, right?
