Which God is the most appropriate choice for mages? I can't really find any guides to the gods anywhere - probably looking in all the wrong places :) Any advice?

I can only speak for Wizards.
The research I've done points to "Ro" being the best diety for that class.

Solusek Ro seems to be the best choice for wizzies. Starting NPC is in BB.

Ro seems to be where you want to be. at least for now. Bert is comin out with RoK so all of the necro's are most likely going to hit that route. but for now Ro is definately where all mages should be.
I will probably move my Warlock to Bert for the extra disease/poison damage, but wizards and conjurors definitely belong with Sol Ro.
