subject. i know in WOW there are some things you cant buy from them, such as engineering trinkets. is this the case? im thinking of being either a carpenter or a woodworker that makes totems and arrows. or maybe nice poisons. any advice?

you can buy it so long as the artisan puts it on the broker.

Everything crafted can be sold. If the crafted item is no-trade, you can use the new commission system to have it made for you.

Pick which ever class you like the most, you can buy the rest :)

I reached level 11 and choose Sholar from the ironforge dude, but the persons in the crafting zone won't give me any of the scholar crafting quests so I can get the scholar recipies as a rewards. They say come back when I've specialized or words to that effect. Confused. What am I doing wrong. Why can't i get the 10-19 crafting quests. From level 1 - 9 I got crafting quests from them and got the recipe books as rewards. I know, I know I can buy the Scholar recipies from the person outside the cellar door. But I don't want to spend 4S per recipe book if I don't have to, why pay when I can quest for them for free.

New player would appreciate your help. I've scoured the web with not luck on an answer, and no one in the game last night seemed to understand my question.

The NPC's in the TS instance are for Tradeksill Writs. You can't do those until you're level 20 and have chosen your sub class.

Buy your Essentials books from the Crafting Trainer just outside your tradeskill instance. The Advanced books are dropped; you can usually find them on the broker if you aren't getting them as drops.

Edit: to clarify, there are no more quested books.
