Good morning, AllaK's - 2/5/07Follow

Good morning, happy campers.

So, Indianapolis won the Super Bowl. While I disagree on the MVP choice, Indy played a good game and the half-time show actually exceeded my expectations (I was fearing the worst when I heard Prince was the entertainment; I was happily mistaken).

Wow. I've been travelling a ton for business. Not a lot of time to sit down and play lately. I logged in for a bit and checked broker sales. I also decided to load on on Bonemire writs to pass time while trying to get a HoF group. No such luck on the group, unfortunately, but status is status.

Congratulations to Joey Chestnut for winning Wingbowl 15 with a record 182 wings in 30 minutes.

I'm on a mission! I need to finish every L&L now! I'm only short a couple of older ones (Cykes and Djinns) and of course the EoF ones when I find them.

Good times. How was your weekend?

had a pretty productive week. got vista installed on my computer (buggy as hell that it is, but nice OS none the less). anyway, in EQ2, dinged my SK 33, and finished several L&L quests (gnoll, centaur, giant, skeleton, and treant), and started 3 others (goblin, bixie, and siren). also started tinkering with me SK. its an alright craft, but sucks how many raws you need for just one craft. guild is 18 now, just need to get on my main and crank out more writs try to get us to 20 soon. over all, not that bad of a week.

Hiya Stu,

Had a great weekend. Guild hit lvl 57. Raided ToS, and Labs again...with a record drop-rate for us. Must have been like 16 to 20 chests...9 relics alone, was insanity. We were supposed to hit Deathtoll, but were almost a full group short, so we switched to labs last minute. Best thing that happened all week lol. Wins were wrapping around since everyone had won something, 1 ended up picking up a nice new shield (and adorned it already), and new shoulders. To make it more fun we used a brawler to tank for all the trash, and even for Slavering Alzid and Pardas. Picked up a few new guildmates, and ran a ton of instances.

Hit the big 6-0 this weekend (just 10 more!!!) and spent a lot of time in SoS with some guildies, who are helping me get cought up to them in the Claymore quest line. Also with some guild members picked up Bag of Tinkerers HQ and we snuck around gathering the 1st set of core samples. We'll have a hive group going in the near future. Since that was my first time in Bonemire, I also loaded up on the discovery dings.

Well, guild hit lvl 40. (and already halfway that level too!) Been working on my Maj'Dul quest series, finished my second House quest line. Only House of Truth left before I can do the big finish quest there.

And I've started the betrayal back to Qeynos too, should get me a couple of AA's at least.

Thanks! Squibb and Maxim really did some writ grinding. And then everyone else joined in with writs and lots of HQ's.

The new rules for guild status points helped a lot too, things go a lot faster now!

I think the MVP selection this year was a popularity contest to get Manning to STFU. It was a good game ... even though daaaaaa bears list :(
