Howcome one is selling for $19.99 and the other is selling for $9.99? Aren't these two versions the same? What's the difference except downloading the game?

I need to buy the game to have access to everything right? If not could I just dl the free trial but pay monthly? Does it have product key?

Those 2 items look like the same content to me - that is original game only - lvl 1 - lvl 50.

However, your best buy at this time is to purchase EoF (about $40 retail) which includes the original game and all 3 existing expansions. You won't be able to use the 1st (Desert of Flames) and 2nd (Kindgdom of Sky) expansions for a while since they are lvl 50-60 and lvl 60-70 but the 3rd expansion (Echos of Faydwyer) contains content from 1-70 so you could access it right away.

Point is, if you can swing the extra cash for the newer box, you'll be getting a LOT more bang for your buck.

Seems like the only difference is that one is a download and one is a hardcopy.

But like the other guy suggested, you should just buy Echoes of Faydwer.
