I'm looking for some help writing a macro, intended to send a group tell and then activate a Hex Doll.

I can get the /tell to work...but I haven't been able to make the Hex doll fire.
Is it possible to activate items with a macro?
What's the trick?

I've tried:

:/use pris...hex doll
:/activate pris...hex doll
as well as some other wordings that didin't look promising to begin with...

I don't know if you can macro it, but you can put it in your hotbar for easier access. Open your inventory and drag the hex doll icon into an open hotbar space. That will put it at the ready and *should* show you the reuse timer as well.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I was looking specifically for macro information so that I could streamline my game play.

After digging a bit further I did find this:

It's all about ingame commands with information about macros, and I thought there might be others that are interested.

It's rather old, and I haven't tested any of it yet...but I am hopeful. It appears that you can activate equipable items via an ingame macro.
