well, last night I played around on my brigand. got all but the keeper killed for Screaming Mace. hope to finish that up tonight. got an ebon cluster for my necro (84g. not happy but best I've seen in a couple days). got the hilt reforged, so gonna clear out some bags before I examine the sword again. figure I'm gonna work on 2 HQs with that one (BBC and, at least, the start of Heirophant's). need to progress FBSS also. so overall, not that bad a day. glad to be back on my account again.

How was your day?

Started my night doing a bit of Harvesting (ya...I've gotten cheaper in my old age lol). Proceeded to Duo the Rahotep raid with an Inquisitor to complete her HQ....holy cow was that a long event with 2 of us. It was a mana tapping/pet casting/auto attacking fiasco...lol she was happy to finish it anyway.

Picked up a new Wizard to replace one that left a while back. Revamped our raid schedule for the next week or 2 to allow for a couple extra ones.

Ended the night running through Den, Nest and Vaults back to back with a very fun/efficient group....got some nice legendary drops that I'll have transmuted for another adornment I want. Logged off satisfied :)

Yes, I’m finally here… shh… let’s see how long it takes Tamat to notice :P

So, been really busy lately in game. My guild has been growing faster than I can believe, which is awesome, and people have really thrown their shoulders into doing writs.

We hit guild level 51 on Monday, and have been diligently slogging through what I’ve come to call “The Nine Hells”, that being the chasm that needs to be filled with XP to get from 51 to 60. It’s actually not that bad, but after the FTL charge to 51, the slowdown *feels* worse than it is simply from perception.

Looking forward to the WoW expansion next week and Vanguard (supposedly) later this month. I have a feeling we’ll end up with a branch over there as well.

Transmuting is still the most horrible tradeskill ever, and needs to be made slightly less torturous than being skinned alive with a knife coated in salt and habanera juice.

Tinkering is far, far less awful, and I’m actually enjoying that one.

Oh, and my baby Coercer is growing up very, very quickly. Absolutely love the class, especially when the fecal matter hits the fan and your group is smart enough to let you do your job. Thank god for guild groups…

Thanks for running with this today, Qwash. I got a wack stomach bug and have been alternating between laying in bed and wretching my innards out through my nose.

Ktok! Welcome to the land of pine scented air fresheners, pal. And confratulations again on the Portent Alliance reaching GL50. Strong.

Didn't do much myself yesterday. Logged in and a random stranger and one of the League super-friends helped me polish off the final guy for the Mistmoore Shield HQ. Finally done with that mess. Got an AA out of the deal as well.

They're releasing the game before it's ready because they need the cash influx. They're releasing in Beta 5 state with missing classes and mechanics, etc.

I hope it doesn't turn people off at launch because the game has great potential, and it's a long hard struggle to overcome a bad launch, bad word of mouth and bad reviews.

They can't count on goodwill from all the people out there looking for a more old school MMO to keep them going if the game is unfinished at launch. The kind of hard they want doesn't involve poor performance, crashing, lag and missing or broken content.

I'll probably get the game at launch, but only because it's included with Station Access and won't cost me extra monthly fees to play. (Of course that could be their nefarious intent...)
