I am thinking about playing everquest 2 and was wondering what the quests/missions where like? are they similar to wow? or are they more instances based similiar to coh/v? or is there a good mixture of both?
Pretty much like WoW, except there are more, lots and lots and lots and lots more.

Yes on Instances (both solo, group and raid). EQ invented the instance afterall.
You get weapons, they have stats, you get new stuff over time. If you die a bunch you have to get your armour repaired. Pretty similar. However there are more armour slots.
