Game Lag.Follow

Yes, I just recently purchased EQ2 for my computer and I am geting MAJOR fps lag at the lowest settings but I meet the required specs,

my specs on my computer are,

3.00 GB Processor

1 GB Of Ram

256 MB 6200 nVidia geforce graphics card

anyone have any suggestions to help improve my preformance?

First, be sure to have the latest drivers for your videocard, also you can run the system manager and check what % of ram is used while you play and what programs takes it all, eq2 takes 550meg at balanced, should give you an idea if something is wrong.

I just started again recently, and i had major fps drops every 5 minutes or so, i cleaned the hard drive of all the old unused games + i downloaded my most recent ati driver, works fine now.

I also hear that nvidia have sluttering issues, you can read more on that at the eq2 forums www.everquest2.com

add; I am on 9800pro 256meg vid card, 2.4 p4, 1gb ram. Runs well at balanced 1280x1024
