seeing as I dont have much time to do anything but check the forums infrequently, I didnt really have any time to pop on and check out Frostfell beyond 30 minutes. Ahh well.

I personally really enjoyed Frostfell.

I only had time to do the tree and Mcsgrogle quest though.

The McSgrogle quest was great fun. The daily presents were also nice as were the fireplaces.

The tree quest was easy in my level bracket so I didn't have to deal with finding a group like some guildies.

Finally the bonus xp was really nice and got me from 19 to 33. Smiley: grin

Once again, I think that SOE really, really listens to us when they look for a way to improve the game.

Last year, a lot of players wished for a Christmas tree so this year they gave us one (and a wreath to boot!)

Many players have also been asking for a fireplace so this year they gave us three!

The quests were clever and fun without being too hard, the rewards were wonderful and the crafting was a blast!

Personally, I expected a rehash of last year's celebration so I was very surprised to find that instead they had created a whole new set of holiday content for us.

This served 2 purposes. First it made this year special since we had all new things to do and second, it kept last year special since the memories and rewards from a year ago were not repeated.

All in all, I think it was a resounding success.

It was good, never had a chance to play the candy cane game (no one was on during my only playing day) but did get the tree, a wreath and finished the Mcscroogle quest.

The tree looks quite good and that other quest was very well done.

I enjoyed it more than I expected to. Sadly, I didn't know about the tree until late in the season, but did get it and a wreath. Nor did I know about the TS additions.

Fortunately, I did catch that and now have a full feast and FIREPLACES, which I love!

I was kind of disappointed in Gardy's presents this year. I loved the music boxes and felt a need to log in each day to make sure I collected the whole set. I didn't get that feeling with the snowglobes. After I got 3 of them I just stopped going back to Gardy. The rest of the event had been spiffy, though I didn't get a chance to try the North Freeport contest dealie.

Are the events over already? I did the tree and delivered the presents..picked up one gift, but that's all I actually had a chance to do. was fun though.

I'm not sure if it's out right this moment or not, but I'm sure it's out with the next update if that hasn't already happened.

You did know that the snowglobes are actually music boxes as well, right? Right click on one and choose the "play _____" option to hear a lovely new tune!

To those who wondered when the event ended... it hasn't yet. It will run till the next LU which should be sometime after mid January so yo still have plenty of time.

Well now I'm bitter at myself that I have been ignoring them all this time. Argh. Now I need to collect more.

And while I'm thinking of it... since no one has mentioned it...

Once you have the holiday food/drink items placed in your home, (Roast fowl, egg nog, candy, apples etc.) if you right click and choose "take a serving" (or something like that), you will get a food/drink item to take with you when you go out adventuring.

They're not high level uber food/drink but they are fun and they are free! (so far I haven't been able to exhaust the supply from any given item so it may not be a finite number!)

I liked the event, the only issue I had with it was that there were way too many harvestables! I had something like 72 slots in my inventory full with just frostfell harvestables and still didn't have enough stuff to actually make anything.
