im loooking for biased opinions on if this game is good - me and a few others are loooking for a game to play ( we came from DAoC and then WoW, completing the end game aspects of these)
is there pvp , how fast is the grind to max lvl...

Ofcourse it's a good game! (that's my biased opinion ofcourse)
You can check the sticky by Lydiaele, that post gives a great overview of the game and a good comparison with other games.
I haven't a clue about PvP.
I do know that it is going to take me about 11 months to get one character to lvl 70. (only 43% left to go!) But I am truly a slow leveller, and am doing it completely solo. You should ask Bodhisattva how long it took him, he was quite fast in getting to lvl 70.
Grouping is faster, doing tough quests in group is about the best way to get xp and good loot.
I haven't a clue about end content,not there quite yet. I also have never been that big a fan of instances and the likes. But that isn't really needed in this game.
Lots of quests are fun, some were even memorable (Nek Castle access quest to get to Lord Everling is still my favourite). Ofcourse, some quests still hurt me even to think about them.
All in all, the game is the best out there for the moment. For me anyway.

One could grind to max level 70 in 5 weeks. Of course that would mean skipping all content, playing for 12 hours a day, having no life, and getting bored with the game real fast.
This could be the opportunity to take a game slowly, enjoying it, having fun. :)

Its gonna take you longer to level than wow or daoc, those are both very easy games. Eq2 is faster now than it used to. The game should last you longer than daoc and wow, youll get plenty of end game content to keep you happy especially if you like to go in big events. More content is added to the game faster than both other games.
As far as getting to 70...depends on how rapidly you play the game but...generally - It took me (and most my friends) about 17 - 20 logged days to hit lvl 70.
