The quests and zones in Splitpaw Saga are supposed to mirror your current level as long as it's between 20 and 50, but does the loot change as well? Would it be better to wait until i'm closer to 50 to do these quests, or does it really matter?

The loot tables on the mobs that you kill in the instanced splitpaw zones will scale with you as well. None of the loot is really stellar, but you may get lucky. There are some nice pieces to be had down there if you work at it.

Adept 1 spells drop like crazy in Splitpaw, at least they used to. They're selling at ridiculous prices on the broker now due to the demand for transmutable items. You can make a lot of money farming there.

You can farm there now and keep going back until you hit the level limit. If I understand what you're asking, there is no loot in EQ2 that you can get at an early level that will prevent you from getting a better version later.

The only reason I can think of to do it at level 20 would be to gain faction to buy the splitpaw only spells/skills, which are kinda useful. You buy them from a gnoll merchant once you complete about four quests to gain faction.

The trial of harclave instance use to be really good for experience, loot, and overall fun. not sure if soe has nerfed it or not though.

It is now limited to once per level. But it is still the most fun I've ever had with an instanced zone.
