Hi everyone. I am new to EQII and I have made a wood elf ranger. It automatically put me into the city of Qeynos, but I want to live in Freeport because my friend in RL who plays is an evil character. I know I can betray, but I don't know where to go or who to talk to. My other question was, if I betray, does that mean I will no longer be a ranger? I have read in other threads here that rangers turn into assassins? Is there anyway I can keep my ranger but still live in the evil city? Thanks in advance. :D

Good to Bad Is a very good Qeynos to Freeport betrayal guide.As far as your class I'm 99% sure you'll become an assassin no other way around it,the Freeportians don't cater to rangers hehe.If you want to keep your ranger but want to play with your friend might I suggest one or the other re-rolling?Otherwise if you betray you'll have no choice but to become an assassin.(Not that it is a bad thing :P)
