Ive played a Monk to lvl 31 and I have a swashie at lvl 8(lol). I have a hard decision on whitch to choose as a main. My Main Concern is Damage, Damage, Damage and more Damage. Second is survivabilty. I can live without FD, and I can live without Evac. SOmeone people help me make a decision! I play on a Pvp server, and theirs a fairy large amount of monks and scouts on Venekor, and I am Planning on Trio'ing with 2 other paladins.

Trade in your Swashie for a Brigand, I say. They have some amazing agro-shifting abilities, along with nice debuffs. The damage output is awesome, in fact I have to be careful lest I steal agro from the tank. Brigands also get to wear chain armor, adding to survivability.

Swashies get better hate management, can use chain as well and do pratically as much damage, and if you're good you can go almost all out with no hate worries.
In conclusion: Swashy > Brig.

You also must ask: Solo or group/raids. For soloing it has to be the Monk. My monk can kick As, take names, and if by chance I have taken on too much play dead. I can not give any advice to group since I have only done it with my Monk.
