Well the assylum has a habit of picking on new people, and being real good at making people butthurt. It is a good warning for those that are sensitive or dont know better.

I think the asylum has shown that it is more than willing to welcome new posters. As long as they have half a brain. If you want to sit down and chat politics then be prepared to bring it and have people disagree with you in a somewhat strong manner.
If you can argue a point without getting riled up when someone points out that you are possibly wrong well then it is the place for you.
If you need hugs and constant pats on the head in order to feel good about yourself well then it might not be the place for you.
