I was under the impression that the merger was bringing everything from the OGaming site to Allas. In my mind, that included their members. I figured we would have an abundance of new posters. So....where are they? Please don't tell me the OGaming boards were as dead as these. That would suck.

We just announced the merger officially today. Most of our users will start to trickle over in the coming days and when we add a redirect to EQ2 OGaming, the slackers should come.

By the by, it would have been more emo as a haiku. Just sayin'.

The joke relies being in our guild (or former guild) and knowing the mohawked ranger in question.

I had a 'Haiku-off' once while trolling a FFXI server forum. It was grand.

Instead of a new one, would you be willing to accept a really old that seems new?

I believe they call it "Retro"

I am so glad to see how both DSD and Bodhi act in this community (as opposed to their Asylum personnas). I've read of your "lover's quarrels" in the WoW forums. Priceless. You two have awesome chemsitry and it makes me LOL a lot.

LOL believe it or not but we tend to know when and where certain, ahh, aspects, of our personality should be reigned in ;) There is a time and place for everything. Unfortunately, those who wander in the Asylum dont usually catch on that that particular forum is entirely different from the gaming aspect of this community

The WoW thread was a little different but it was damn funny

I guess what I was trying to say is that I am glad both of you are part of this community. You both offer good advice and insight into the game. Bodhi could be a little less whiney, but give and take, ya know? Smiley: wink2

sadly, my time on EQ2 may be coming to an end. Our guild had a big shake up and took away the one aspect of the game I really looked forward to: raiding. Being ready for DSD spawn #2 any day now I was fully expecting to take a sabbatical and come back soon, but with this new insight it may or may not happen. Unfortunately the lovin for monks in casual raiding guilds is almost nil, and I cant join a hardcore raiding guild with a 4 yr old and a newborn. =( As I've already seen what there is instance wise for the lvl 70 content, and can not get into making an alt and sticking with it, I may be in for a longer period of time gone than I had anticipated.

But I'll still be poking in here and bugging you all, esp now that we have new people and *gasp* a DB!!! =)

I understand what you mean. I loved playing EQ2, but I had to quit about 6 months ago due to...reality. I know I want to play again, but I am on indefinite leave. Stupid reality. How I loathe thee.

Congrats on the 2nd munchkin by the way. I can't believe it has already been 9 months. I remember reading your post about the inception. That felt like it was only a few months ago. Time, she does fly.

/waves Hello

Former member returning.

I've got to thank Allakhazam anyway. I've kept up a EQ/EQ2 blog for years after using an old subscriber feature and deciding to go the next step.

Err, no direct links apparently. mrrx.wordpress.com to view the blog.

I personally am going to have to give this site some time, the old Allakhazam left a bad taste in my mouth, and ogaming was just so damn good, but i guess money talks!
