New to EQ2Follow

Hello, I just bought EQ@ - I used to play EQ1 (started in 1999 and stopped a couple years ago.

I have a few quick questions:

What is a good server to play on these days? Im looking for a friendly server, to make some friends on. I dont do pvp, I used to play on veeshan years ago.

Im thinking about a druid but not 100% sure on if thats what I want to play.

I had a 50+ druid on veeshan many years ago, and I also had a 50+ necro and love him as well.

Any tips for my first day? Im installing now?

welcome to EQ2! Najena is a great server to check out. I know a lot of the regulars here play there. There are also a couple of us on Blackburrow, but we dont have one specific guild over there.

As for whether a druid is good or not, it will determine on your playstyle. I played a druid in EQ1 and che3cked out a fury. I loved her! More dps than before, a nice balance of heals when compared to other healers, etc. The only thing I couldnt stand, which they just took away, was the randm fizzles that had nothing to do with your stats ( like in EQ1). I did switch over to try a monk and am now happily ensconced in fighting up close, but if you liked the druid in Eq1, I think you should enjoy the Fury.
