Ok, I removed EQ2 maps from my computer but there are still the little dots and everything everywhere, and now that there are new zones they dont show up because they dont have em on EQ2 maps yet. I COMPLEATLY removed EQ2 maps, is there a way to hide the EQ2 map and show what the original map would show, or is there just no map for any of the new zones... hard to explore when you dont know where you have been or where your headed.

EQ2 Maps adds maps for many zones that the game itself does not include, primarily instances and dungeons. Could that be it?

Regardless, I would ask on the forums at EQ2 Interface.

I also have EQ2 maps and as of last night, they were all updated and showing beautifully. Truthfully, I'd be lost (quite literally) without them :)

Did you try a complete uninstall or just deleting the folder for eq2 maps? I think as long as it's maps are in use anywhere on the game they are the default maps.

The EQ Maps have been a bit buggy since the update. The points don't allways show and it sounds like it's an issue with the fog. At least that's what they are talking about on the EQUI forums. For me it seemed as if you zoned the points would stop working. I would log out an dupdate my maps and the points would work again until I zoned. They are aware of the issue so hopfully it will be resolved soon. It also sounds as if this is only occuring in the zones that would not have maps if it they weren't provided by EQII Maps.
