Who has preordered their expansion? Im taking tomorrow night and wandering around Faydwer to catch the sights. Can't wait to see all the old haunts. Husband found an area in Steamfont while in beta,that he and I used to go to in EQ1 to grind. Its a little valley area, filled with clockworks, drakes, and minotaurs. Stood right near one of the windmills. We reminincsed how we used to run to the mill for help many a times. The fact they have that exact area makes me all excited to see what else we can find that we remember.
I've been one of the few in my guild to not look at anything (except a cloak discussion and SS's) until the expansion comes out. Way I see it, Im looking at tomorrow like Christmas. I dont like finding out whats wrapped in that box until the right time. Figure it gives me lots of time when it comes out to peruse my options and fully enjoy it. EQ2 has been slow for awhile for our guild and Im hoping to make this enjoyment linger as much as possible.

I tried pre-ordering it actually, but Sony Station keeps saying that I already have a copy pre-ordered, so at this moment I'm not sure what'll happen tomorrow.
I will get this expansion though, one way or another, I've run around most zones in Beta and did some quests as a Fae in the new newbie zone, it has been quite fun. Although the zones seem to be rather bland (and I was disappointed in Butcherblock), had fun running around and enjoyed the changes so far.
Still haven't found a way inside Unrest, but Mistmoore was truly great (and lethal, even at 70).

No it wont be. But I figure that there should be plenty of content to check out for awhile and then when Unrest does get released it will be like that Christmas present your Auntie Jem sent you but got lost in the mail and didnt arrive for another month.
Personally I want to check out Crushbone and Lesser Fay. Imma going Brownie hunting tomorrow with my 70 monk, just because I owe those bastids many times over from EQ1 =)

No worries, it's not the server we're talking about but the zone on Faydwer. For a lot of EQ players it's a zone where lots of time was spent grinding on the undead in EQ I. I for one am very curious to see how it looks like now, I've spent hours upon hours there with my pallie.

Many of the server names come from areas of the game well known and loved (or hated) by fellow EQ1 vets
Silly Question but when is the expansion released? I thought it was nov 18th but doesn't Soe release expansions on Thursdays?

Learned not to do that with EQ1. Best to work a full day, come home and wait for servers to come up, and call in sick tomorrow!
Of course, sometimes its best to wait 2 days depending on the size of the expansion. Between constant server crashes and rollbacks you never really accomplish much anyway.

The local game store clerk said the retail boxed version will be on the shelves by Friday, pre-orders arrive today at 11am.
People on the SOE boards are talking about Best Buy carrying EoF with a $10 insta rebate coupon- some stores have it on the shelf today.

I found one at a local gamestop! Luckily it's the one near my house! Got my reserved copy waiting for me.

Best Buy does have it, but its a $10 gift card, not rebate.
Yea i picked mine up at best buy yesterday and got a $10.00 Best Buy gift card with it.
Bought it from digital download last night and went to bed, woke up 7 hours later and it was downloaded.
I quickly rolled a fae and dizamn the music is great. Not only that but the game looks so good that it boggles the mind.
