I just installed the collectors edition of eq2 no expansions and it looks great. I did not think this game would look as good as it does. Do the expansions look this good or better.

they look good and then some. The latest expansion coming out soon, Echoes of Faydwer, look insanely awesome. I think even better than the previous ones. But Im partial to Faydwer

I gotta agree with DSD here... I think T6 (1st expansion) looks better than T1 - T5 (original game) and that T7 (2nd expansion) looks even better than T6. The new expansion is just unbelievable!

These guys (the dev team) learns from their mistakes and is extremely responsive to the player base. After two years, this game still has a lot of potential.

Mind you, I do prefer the Desert of Flames zones over the Kingdom of Sky zones as a solo player.

But the game has improved considerably with every expansion released, and the new one won't be an exception!

It's delightful to play a Fae and the new zones aren't all bad to walk around in. As far as I can tell after only a very short time in Faydwer, I like the changes and the new zones. Perhaps a bit too bland and similar to the ones we have though, and Butcherblock sure seems rather small and still haven't found Unrest, but all in all very good.

The only issue I had with DOF is that every single dungeon looked the same when it came to raiding. Same for KOS though. One thing I grumble about is the lack of depth when it comes to raiding zones. They all seem to be very cookie cutter. However, outside of those zones, the rest is undeniably beautiful.
